With some new year re-structuring and some staff changes at Lakeside, I am pleased to release some exciting employment opportunities within our Recreation Centre. Our Centre has been growing steadily over the past 10 years and we are looking for the right people to help this continue into the future.
Lakeside is a place where it’s more than a game! People are our focus and our new staff members will be people focussed and have great communication skills. They will be driven and committed to the Lakeside mission and vision.
While our Centre operates across a broad range of recreation areas, we are a specialist basketball venue, affiliated with Basketball WA. Three of these new roles are focussed on taking our Basketball Programs to even greater heights, with the fourth role being in administration and working across all areas of operation.

Administration Assistant Role
20-37.5hrs per week
There is always something happening at Lakeside – we have a vibrant community that is engaged in a large range of sport and recreation activities. Our Administration Assistant will develop an in-depth understanding of all programs, across the centre. This role will be a key support position to other Lakeside staff, working most closely with our Business Manager.
The Administration Assistant will operate from the Lakeside front desk and will bring a high level of customer service to this position as the face of Lakeside to all who enter! The ability to manage financial processes operating through the front desk will be vital in this role. The Administration Assistant will show a high level of initiative and have the ability to think logically and solve problems. They will be keen to learn and able to adapt quickly to a variety of work contexts and professional relationships.

- Experience in Money Handling and Financial Processes
- Computer Skills – Office Suite and the ability to learn other software systems
