Seniors aims to enrich and celebrate seniors’ lives, focus on strengths, and assist people to live life to the full as involved and connected members of our community. Unless otherwise stated, all our activities are held at Lakeside Recreation Centre, on the corner of Bibra Drive and Farrington Road in North Lake.

Life Story Writing

We’ve all got a story to tell, have you ever thought about sharing yours? Bring your photos, memorabilia, and experiences. Reflect on life’s journey as we write memoirs and reminisce over a cuppa.

Coffee and Cake Morning

Come and join us as we check out different coffee hot-spots around the area.

Mystery Movie Morning

Join us as we check out different movies, ones to make you laugh, and ones to make you cry. Be encouraged and uplifted as we watch something you wouldn’t normally!

Living Longer Living Stronger

Living Longer Living Stronger is a group fitness class created specifically for over 50s, run through Lakeside’s Fitness Centre. Join a thriving, active community where you can keep fit, stay healthy, and socialise in a fun environment.

Tai Chill for Arthritis

Today, Tai Chill is recognised as one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body around the world. Tai Chill for Arthritis is an enjoyable exercise that can relieve pain, improve health and enhance motor skills. What’s more, it’s easy to learn — anyone can do it! In fact, many people who learn the forms like it so much they continue to practice and enjoy the benefits for years.
